About me

My passion for developing innovative IT solutions began while managing the development of homes and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Witnessing the transformative impact of adaptive technologies, I discovered the potential of technology to create empowering, life-changing solutions.

During my MS in Information Systems program at the University of Washington, I gained expertise in cloud platforms and services, with a focus on AI, data mining, cybersecurity, and aligning IT strategies with business management goals. These studies laid the foundation for my career in cloud and information security.

To deepen my technical knowledge, I earned the Network & Server Administration Certificate and Linux & Security Certificate from North Seattle College. I have built dozens of cloud-based projects and business solutions and continue to volunteer with a local nonprofit's IT department. This hands-on experience helped me achieve Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications.

Currently, I am enhancing my skills through the Per Scholas AWS re/Start program, where I design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure cloud-based solutions. My expertise includes: - Linux for server configuration - Python and Bash scripting for automation - IaC and DevOps tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitHub Actions for seamless deployment and maintenance

    Worked with data pipelines, from ingestion to invoking CloudFormation toolsets for database ingestion.

    • Managed six (median) data migration projects simultaneously at any given day, adhering to timeline constraints. Successfully completed 165 data migration projects for organizations and datasets of varying size.

    • Utilized data migration tools and scripts to automate the transfer of data between systems, improving efficiency and accuracy. Conducted data validation and quality checks post-migration, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
